hearing the past

I was never a big Oasis fan. Am still not really, but every once in awhile I hear one of their songs and really dig it. Just now "Champagne Supernova" is playing and it's really a nice little reminder of the past. Just something that doesn't bring back a specific memory, but more like just a reminder that the past is there both good and bad. If we allow it to it can throw rocks at us and create a big lot of drama, but if we don't allow it then it can be reminisced and enjoyed for what it was. Anyway, there are just things from the past that serve as these reminders that it's there. That song is one of them.
