Goals

I just had my annual performance evaluation for work.  It went very well.  I'm chalking it up to the annual performance goals I set for myself and keep written on my white board.  They are:

• Excellence is the bedrock of everything you do.
• SMILE genuinely and often.
• Have FUN!!  Lots of FUN!!
• Beware of the too serious man/woman.
• Thank You's are required and magic.

I have one other that isn't up on the board, but I keep it on the wall next to my computer.  It is, "I have the power to choose what I give my attention to" ~ Patricia Moreno.  I think I might move it up to my whiteboard so that others can see it.  It's really amazingly important.
