Martin

I don't know how we can quantify the changes that Martin Luther King, Jr.'s work on our society and on the world at large. So many of us weren't even born at the time. I do know that without his work and the work of so many others during the Civil Rights movement I wouldn't have my beautiful babies and that is profound to me. It always seemed fitting that Bronte was born on MLK, Jr. day. It also seems fitting that even if I have to use vacation time I shouldn't work on that day and instead use the day to honor him in some way. Today I spent time with my children and cooked for them. While it's not a parade I think he would have been fine with it.
